For the last several months, I have used wifi to connect to the internet through an unsecured wifi network that my organization controls - had been working fine since last night. Today my iMac shows that I am connected to the proper network same as always but I am unable to connect to the internet in any way (web browsers, ssh, ping, etc.). We have a router for the internet, so I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with the problem, the fact that the Sims 3 launcher won't even connect to the internet. I am no good with computers so please tell if there is anything else I can do. If my iMac is connected to the internet via both WiFi and Ethernet is that a problem? I feel if possible, being hardwired is always better than WiFi but it seems the ability to “unlock with Apple Watch” needs the WiFi connection.
