Just upgraded OS on MacBook Pro retina late 2015 to 10.11.6. Now there is an X through the battery icon in the status bar. Click on battery and it says “No Battery Available” Computer works with charger, but dies immediately if disconnected. Is it odd that a battery would suddenly die? On the day a long put off OS upgrade is completed? Is it possible to completely hide the menu bar on an external monitor? I'm using my laptop with a projector, and while I can set the desktop background to completely black, the menu bar is still there. Even in dark mode there is still text. I still use Mavericks primarily, so my menubar is a gradient of black at the top down to fully transparent. In the new OS X Yosemite, the menu bar input source country flag has been removed for some countries. The Greek flag got removed, while the disputed "Macedonian" flag is intact.
