My vpn allows me to use TCP 443. I heard that using VPN through port 443 is more secure. If I use VPN on port 443 it means that vpn tunnel will run through port 443 and the traffic would appear as if it is SSL traffic. However all they have to do is look at the destination IP address to determine it's a VPN service provider. I had this same problem with port 443, process id 4 and everything. For me it was not the VPN using the port, it was IIS. To fix this I opened up IIS and right clicked on my instance and stopped it. You can try SoftEther, they have their own SSL VPN protocol that's nice but it only works on computers, but if you want to use your phone they incorporate OpenVPN and SSTP (microsoft's SSL VPN).
